Lee County P&C Agency (Now Available)
The prospect company is a standard personal lines property and casualty agency in the Fort Myers area. The agency has been in business for over two decades, currently has over 1,600 policies-in-force and obtains roughly 80% of its new business from customer referrals alone. The office operates on QQ Solutions management software. The office if located in a professional complex with a month-to-month lease at a rate of $1,200 per month. The owner is selling for retirement and has trained the staff to handle much of the day-to-day business.

More than half of the book of business is placed with one “A+” AM Best rated carrier, and more than 80% is written through the top three carriers/brokers. The agency is appointed with over a dozen home and auto insurance companies including Allied, Citizens, Security First, Tower Hill, Travelers and Universal P&C.

The acquisition is ideal for an agency that can merge this book into an existing office, or for an agency seeking a satellite office in the Fort Myers area.

The prospect company is a growing, Latin-based, franchised property and casualty agency serving Orlando, FL.  The agency was established in 2009 and is currently writing 80-100 new policies per month with very little marketing.  Most of the new business is coming in from referrals of customers and from an increase in brand recognition. The agency is located in a well-designed office on a major road. The franchisor provides excellent training and support, and offers many appointments as well as an array of ancillary fee-based services as additional profit centers.

The agency is projecting $125k in revenue for 2011 with a net of $68k.  Through additional marketing and expansion of the brand awareness, this agency should easily be able to exceed $300k in revenue while maintaining a strong profit margin. The sale includes a logo wrapped vehicle and a variety of other marketing materials.
